Happy Halloween!

From time to time, I like to proofread what my parents put on their blog and every now and then I'll find an example where they skim over what I feel is a pretty important fact. For example, that Halloween costume that my mom spent so much time making for me--you know, the one in which I looked absolutely FABULOUS--well there is a little detail that wasn't quite explained over on their blog. And that is that the only part of the costume that my mom didn't actually make was the hat I wore. Do you know where that came from? You'll never guess, so I'll just tell you...A Halloween costume for DOGS! Yeah, that's right. She looked high and low for a witches hat that would fit me and couldn't find one. So she bought a costume meant to be worn by a cocker spaniel and put the hat on me. Can you believe it?!? And my dad thought it was hilarious.

Granted, I did look fantastic in the whole ensemble, but that doesn't change that fact that part of my costume was meant for canines. And because I knew it was important to my parents for me to look as cute as possible, I was a really good sport and never once tried to pull the DOG-gone thing off. But make no mistake, my parents will be hearing about this once I can start verbalizing coherent sentences. Hope you had a good Halloween.

Can someone please tell me...

Why I have to sit in a pumkin naked?

Mom's 26 and I'm 6-2!!

So a few days ago, mom turned 26!! And on the exact same day, I turned 6-2 (6 months minus 2 days) I can't beleive how big we're both getting. I'm going to be driving soon...and maybe mom will too.

Here are a few pictures from the day.

I got pretty tired after all the celebrating, so I took a long nap.

Take the Camera Away From Them...Please!

I love my parents, but this has to stop. I can't do anything without one of them grabbing the camera. I tried to eat the camera the other day, but that didn't work. So can someone give me a hand here?

Or does anyone have any advice on how I can stop this madness?

My gauge of growth!

I was looking through pictures with my mom the other day and I noticed something, I'm getting bigger. My carseat seems to be getting smaller and smaller. By next month I should be able to drive. (I know what you're thinking...before my mom. At mom's rate my kids will drive before her.)

Two weeks old!

Six weeks old!

Five months!

The greatest thing about me getting bigger, is that I get a new wardrobe like every month.

Hi!

I'll be amazed if there is even anyone out there that still checks my blog. If you are out there, thanks for sticking with it. I guess there's not a whole lot that has happened since my last post, other than...laughing for the first time, rolling over for the first time, sitting up for the first time, and eating solid foods for the first time. I've also grown about 5 inches and gained about 6 pounds. My bald spot in the back of my head is going away, my eyes are settling into what looks like it will be a grayish green, and I think I've got a few teeth finally starting to come in. I've also flown for my first time, as well as for the second, third and fourth times. I've been to St. Louis MO,  Springfield MA, Stockbridge MA, Boston MA, Pawtuckett RI, Newport RI, and some quaint little cabin on a lake in Vermont. I've met 4 uncles, 5 aunties, 9 cousins, 16 first cousins once removed, 3 second cousins, 7 great-uncles, 8 great-aunts, 1 Great Grandpa, 1 Great Grandma, and about 2 dozen other people that are family, I'm just not sure how. Other than that, there hasn't really been much happening. So I'm sure you can see why it didn't seem all that important for my parents to let me get on the blog and give you an update--what was I going to update you on?!?
Well, since I don't really have much to talk about, I guess I'll let you be on your way. I hope you'll check back in about 6 months. I'm sure by then I'll have something interesting to tell you.

Long Time No Post...

I would normally apologize profusely for leaving everyone in the dark for so long, but, in this case, it's not my fault! I've wanted to post a new entry on my blog for some time now, but my parents won't give me the chance! I cry all the time and my parents try to feed me, check my diaper, warm me up, cool me down, everything under the sun in an effort to get me to stop crying, but does it ever occur to them that I'm crying for the computer? No! Of course not.

Anyway, on my parent's behalf, I'm sorry it's taken so long. As you can imagine, a lot has happened in the past 34 DAYS! I'll just have to give you a quick recap. On April 20th, I was blessed in church by my Daddy. That was kind of fun. It's official, my name is Charlotte Mae! It was especially fun laying there in the arms of 15 men all at the same time. My Dad's friend, Rob, was there and he peeked and saw me taking it all in.

A few days after the blessing all of my grandparents, uncles and aunts went home. That was really sad. (I don't know if my parents have any clue what their doing.) But I'm excited because I'll get to see them all very soon. (My Mommy and I are taking a trip to St. Louis in the next few weeks.)

I'm finally starting to smile..and it's not the gas anymore! My parents always make a break for the camera to try to capture the moment, but by the time they get ready, I turn that smile upside down..ha ha..I know I'm kind of a brat.

I've started walking and talking recently...ok not really.

I had my one month birthday a few days ago! That was fun. Rob and Melissa brought me and my parents cupcakes to celebrate...come to think of it, I don't think I got any of those cupcakes! (I guess I got some a few hours later...if you know what I mean.) It's amazing I've been here a month already! I don't think my parents can believe it either.

A few days after my 1 month birthday, I went on my first date! I told you my parents don't know what they're doing. It was actually pretty cool. This really cute Asian kid named Chase came over to my house and we hung out. I think there was a real connection. i just don't know if it's too soon to call, or if I should wait for him to make the first move, or what. Any advice? I looked really cute, though, as you can see in the photos below.

Last, but not least, my Mommy got to celebrate her first official Mother's Day yesterday. I know she was really excited about that. I think my Dad kind of screwed things up, though, because I thought guys were supposed to do breakfast in bed or a big fancy dinner and stuff like that on Mother's Day. I didn't see anything like that going on. He did give her some books and he told her that I helped pick them out (I don't really remember being involved in that decision, but whatever.) I actually went and got her a gift card for some new clothes--I'm really tired of hearing her complain about her closet situation.

Well, I think that should bring you all up to speed. Again, I'm sorry for taking so long to post. I'll try to keep my parents on a better schedule (they say it's important to establish a schedule early so not to form any long lasting bad habits.) Hope to see you all soon!

Welcome to my life...

Well, I can't promise I'll find the time to put a new post up everyday for very much longer. I'm finding it harder and harder to find the time in between my naps. I've been sleeping a lot which has been really nice. And whenever I'm awake, this is what I see:

You'd think these people had never seen a baby before. I can't make everything out yet, but it sounds like they are always saying things like, "It's a cheese so toot," and "All water pities widdle-babies," whatever that's supposed to mean. Anyway, I'm starting to get accustomed to my new surroundings here at home and it's nice to finally be in my own bed.

I guess I'll see you all soon.

I'm here!

Well, I figured I had put Mom and Dad through enough, so this morning at about 3:40 am I started knocking on my Mom's secret door about every 6 minutes or so. Almost 12 hours later at 3:15 pm, I made my grand entrance into this world. I didn't make it too difficult on Mom, she only had to push for about 15 minutes. I didn't have a mirror in there, obviously, and if I do say so myslef, I was pretty amazed with how cute I am. I've got dark brown hair, and light colored eyes, and I think everyone's grateful that I didn't get my Dad's ears.

My Meme was there and so was my Auntie Darci. But the first person I saw when I came out was President Monson (my parents were watching General Conerence during most of the birth-that's gotta count for some brownie points, right?)

Anyway, I'm happy to be here and I think all of you are, too. Come and see me whenever you can!

Welcome to my future blog...

My name is Charlotte Mae Fuhriman. I'm not born yet, but once I am, I'm going to start posting all kinds of fun things for you to come look at. You'll be able to see how pretty I am, and you'll probably even see a few pictures of my great-looking parents. Well, I better go, I think I'm keeping my mom up with all this typing (she thinks I have the hickups) and my dad is probably wondering where his computer is and why there's a power cord going up my mom's pant leg. See you soon!
